Custom epoxy resin bases that achieve outstanding chemical resistance and mechanical strength to withstand the demands of the fume-cupboard environment.
Our fume cupboard bases are cast in the same solid, homogeneous epoxy resin as our worktops — chemical-resistant through their full thickness, mechanically strong, and able to contain and drain aggressive reagents safely.
Bases are made to your specification, with integral dished or coved details and drainage to suit the cupboard. Standard and fabricated options are available.

Chemical resistance
Tested to BS EN 438-2:1991 (24-hour spot test). Unaffected by the majority of common laboratory reagents — including acetone, alcohols, and hydrochloric and sulphuric acids. A small number of aggressive reagents cause slight bleaching or surface attack (e.g. dichloromethane, hydrofluoric acid, fuming nitric acid).
