Start an enquiry →Simmons epoxy products are moulded in a solid, non-porous, homogenous epoxy resin: a monolithic, thermosetting, pigmented epoxy resin with inert fillers. Components are post-cured to optimise chemical resistance and mechanical strength. They are solid rather than laminated, and retain their chemical resistance throughout. Every product is cast with an attractive semi-gloss finish in five standard colours, Grey, White, Black, Dark Grey and Cream (off-white); other colours are available to special order.
Chemical resistant
Conforms to SEFA 3-2020, tested in 2026: 40 of the 49 reagents leave no effect or only a slight change in colour or gloss, among them acetone, ethanol and concentrated hydrochloric acid.
Mechanically strong
Dense and rigid, with 149 N/mm² compressive strength (ISO 604, 2026) and no backing material required.
Easily cleaned and decontaminated
Seamless surface wipes down clean, and rated excellent for ease of decontamination to BS 4247.
